  • A paragraph about how you think you will use Excel and similar programs as a teacher (see Chapter 13 and listen to the podcast on teacher productivity). Be specific about your subject matter area and the grade level.

  • A paragraph on adaptive technologies and how they are used to support learners. Have you or anyone you have known used such technologies? What do you perceive as challenges, if any, to using adaptive technologies in your classroom?
  • A paragraph on new skills you acquired from working on this week’s assignment (Web Page Design) and reflect what you like about it/what you don’t like about it and how you can improve it next time and how what you learned from the assignment can be used in your future career. Be sure to include a link to the tool and to incorporate it into your blog where possible, and check out the ones that your classmates have shared as well.
  • A paragraph about whether or not you think web 2.0 is useful in K-12 education, and why. Be specific about which Web 2.0 technologies you think are useful and/or not useful in the classroom and to support teacher professional development. Be sure to refer to the podcasts on this topic.
  • A paragraph on new skills you acquired from working on the last assignment (Web Hunt) and reflect what you like about it/what you don’t like about it, how you can improve it next time, and how what you learned from the assignment can be used in your future career.

  • A paragraph about how you have searched for and evaluated Internet-based resources for use in school work in the past and how your methods compared with those mentioned in the podcast.
  • A paragraph on new skills you acquired from working on this week’s assignment (Inspiration) and reflect what you like about it/what you don’t like about it, how you can improve it next time, and how what you learned from the assignment can be used in your future career.
